To develop cybersecurity talent in both public
and private sectors within ASEAN countries.
The ASEAN Cyber Shield Exchange Student Program (ACS-ESP) is a collaborative initiative between South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to foster cybersecurity expertise within the region.It offers opportunities for selected students to study at "Kangwon National University" in South Korea with full support. The Asian Cyber Shield Exchange Program (ACS-ESP) has a rolling application deadline. For the 2025 program, which is hosted by Kangwon National University from February to December, the application deadline is August 31st.
Students will receive exemption from KNU tuition fees, along with pick-up and drop-off services at Incheon International Airport. They can also take part in the Buddy Program, an Internship Program, and enjoy field trips and experiences of Korean culture. In addition, guaranteed dormitory accommodation is provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
Financial Support includes application admission, and tuition costs are completely waived and the scholarship provides support for round-trip airfare as well as dormitory fees,ensuring that students can focus on their studies without financial burden.
